SHORT TERM/STAY VISA

The short-stay visa is a visa whose period of validity cannot exceed ninety (90) days.
It is granted to any foreigner who comes to Burkina Faso for reasons of tourism, business or family visit.
The beneficiary's length of stay is determined based on the information provided in the request.
The short stay visa is issued for one or more entries.
The short stay visa issued for a single entry allows the beneficiary to stay ninety (90) days at most.
The short stay visa issued for a single entry allows the beneficiary to stay ninety (90) days at most.
The short stay visa for multiple entries allows the beneficiary to make several stays without exceeding ninety (90) days.
The short-stay visa does not give the beneficiary the right to work in Burkina Faso without prior authorization from the minister in charge of labor.

THE APPLICANT FOR A SHORT STAY VISA MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS

A valid passport
An (01) application form, provided by the competent administration, duly completed, dated and signed
Two (02) recent identity photos in color on a white background format 3.5 x 4.5 cm
Proof of the reason for staying in Burkina Faso
A medical examination certificate attesting that the applicant is not suffering from a contagious disease
A health insurance certificate covering the period of stay
Stamp duty payment receipt
